New York: Richard Johns, 1932
Perfect bound 8vo, blue stiff paper wrappers, lettered in black to front panel and spine. Closed tear to head of spine with a little loss, light sunning to edges of wrappers. A very good copy.
The tenth issue of this influential literary magazine, edited by Richard Johns.
Running for twelve issues between 1930 and 1933, Pagany attracted contributions from the leading and emerging modernist writers of the time, many of them Paris expatriates. Contributors to this issue include William Carlos Williams (whose 1928 novel A Voyage to Pagany gave the magazine its name), Erskine Caldwell and H.D. [Hilda Doolittle].
