Pictorial price-clipped dustwrapper, a little worn at folds and internally strengthened, and with some slight chipping at spine ends. A very good copy.

Originally entitled Lady In Waiting, the title was changed after printing when it was discovered that a book with that title had just been published. (This is explained in a printed note on the verso of the title-page). Originally published with a wraparound band explaining the change, not present on this copy.
