Lawrence Goldstone [1903-1998] was a lawyer, prolific crime novelist and co-founder of the Mystery Writers of America. Although Goldstone himself dismissed the notion, he is often credited as having pioneered the police procedural genre of detective novels.
A very well preserved copy in the scarce dust jacket.
